Full Moon Nidra, Meditation and Tea

  Lets celebrate the full moon in January with a yoga nidra session followed by a short meditation practice and then some soothing tea.  
Yoga Nidra is defined in wikipedia as:
Yoga nidra (Sanskrit: योग निद्रा) or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation.
There is evidence that yoga nidra helps to relieve stress. An ancient technique from India, it has now spread worldwide and is also being applied by the US Army to assist soldiers to recover from post-traumatic stress disorder.

You do not have to be good at yoga or flexible for this.  We will provide blankets and bolsters but feel free to bring a pillow or blanket or eye pillow if you have something you would prefer.  The practice is done laying on the floor.  Afterwards we will find a comfortable seat (chairs are provided) to join in a simple meditation.  We will finish this whole thing off with some tea and some journaling, so please bring your journal or we will provide some writing material.  

Life can get so stressful and the winter is so dark.  Join us and rest your mind and your body and warm your soul.  
Ages 15 and up are welcome.  New to meditation and yoga is not a problem.  
Tickets must be purchased online.
